All Aglow

All Aglow provides an opportunity to kick off the Holiday Season with neighbors and friends. Join us at 6:00 p.m. on the City Hall lawn, with the lighting of the evergreen taking place about 6 p.m.

A reception at the Senior Center will follow, featuring carols sung by River’s Edge, hot chocolate and cookies, children’s crafts, and, of course, visits with Santa himself.

In 2010 the Sitting Pretty Fundraiser was brought back after taking a 6 yr. break. The RRJWC is proud to be able to offer this fundraiser to the community again this year. The Sitting Pretty project involves local area artists painting adirondack chairs and wooden park benches to display around Rocky River. The items will be auctioned off and the money raised will benefit various non profit and scholarship organizations in our city. The money goes directly back to Rocky River! NEW to the fundraiser this year, we will be auctioning off several Adirondack Chair Sets, Single Adirondack Chairs and Benches. Opportunities for Involvement
This very successful fundraiser will require lots of involvement from RRJWC members. Volunteers will be needed in the planning and execution of this exciting project. Committees will recruit and work with local artists, purchase and transport benches, work with sponsors, and plan an auction to sell these beautiful masterpieces.
